I believe our school administration does a good job of evaluating staff and recognizing strengths and weaknesses so we can get the best people in positions to help all students the most. I would support them by working to hire the best people available for each job.
Graduation rates are a concern. Arkansas school funding is partly based on this. If a student leaves a school it is important to be able to track that student to be able to show that student does graduate somewhere else or it counts against the school they left. As a board member I will support our staff in what they need to accomplish this.
