The Eureka Springs School District excels academically. They have made great gains over the years at improving test scores and I hope to continue supporting that excellence.
I think that with the LEARNS Act, the district will have to become more attractive to the parents who have the option to send their kids to private or home school. It's a tough balance to strike because you can't please everyone all the time and public school is held to a higher academic standard. Our kids need to be shown what the world offers beyond this tiny little bubble so they can understand what an education can do for them, and feel motivated to come every day and engage fully.
