I have 22 yrs of experience, 6005 training course hours, a Master Peace Office and have multiple certifications. I am currently the sitting appointed Precinct 4 Constable, dedicated to my community
Continue to be active in the community and have been for 17 years, we expanded to various communities in Pct. 4 to include Dove Springs, Easton Park, Montopolis, Travis Heights, Del Valle, Goodnight Ranch, East Austin and do multiple toy drives for Christmas, Do a Turkey Drive Thru of 1000 Turkeys, donate 5000 backpacks for schools filled with supplies and sponsor and collaborate various events
Our office treats everyone with fairness, compassion and with empathy. Our office believes in education and prevention before enforcement. Our office has been consistently in the community since 2017 and have built trust and maintain healthy relationships with members and organizations. This effort has highlighted the true meaning of community policing that our office always get recognized for.
I strongly believe in training and education. I collaborate with other agencies to fill vacant seats in their training classes and make training available to all of our deputies to ensure we provide members of the community the "best customer service" available with updated training and practices. We seek to attend additional training rather than settle for the bare minimum training needed.

For nearly 20 years I've been mentored by outstanding Leaders, Constable MarĂa Canchola, Constable and Tax Assessor Bruce Elfant and currently under the leadership of Constable Carlos B. Lopez.
I'll support reforms that improves training, accountability and Community engagement. You earn trust by showing up, listening to your community and treating people with the respect we all deserve.
Fairness starts with Leadership, I'll set the standards from day one. I'll make sure that all the deputies understand that we serve all of Travis County with respect, patience and empathy. That means regular training and accountability.
I would prioritize training by focusing on safety, professionalism, and community trust. That means regular training on use of force standards, de-escalation, law, civil process etc. Everyone must have strong, consistent understanding of the law and policy.
