Occupation
Judge
I am the current Presiding Judge of the 311th Family District Court. I am seeking re-election to the 311th District Court to continue the work I believe remains unfinished in family law and justice for Harris County families. I have maintained my mission of consistently applying the law impartially, exercising wise judicial discretion, and earning public confidence through fairness, equality, and respect in every courtroom decision. I am consistently rated highly on the HBA Judicial Bar Poll, and I credit this to the mission statement that I established when I was first elected in 2018, which continues to guide me in my decision-making and overall judicial philosophy. I humbly ask for your vote for re-election to the 311th District Court.
I am committed to upholding my role as Judge of the 311th Family District Court by adhering to the law, maintaining an efficient courtroom, and being fair to all who appear before the court. For more information, please visit www.judgegermainetanner.com.
