As the Judge of the 309th Judicial District Court, the first pressing issue would be to prioritize the efficiency of the docket so that every litigant receives a fair and speedy hearing and result. It is imperative to each party that the sitting judge hears cases, reviews motions and proposed orders, and renders orders as timely as possible. The second pressing issue for all courts should be for the Judge to treat each and every person who comes before the court with dignity and respect. It is important that the parties and attorneys are heard and know that their case is being treated as if it is the most important case on my docket. Because to them, their case is the most important case.
