Attorney
As an attorney with over 29 years of experience practicing civil law, and a small business owner himself, Brian has a personal understanding of the law and how it impacts every community in Houston. Having dedicated his entire career to practicing law, he possesses the courtroom experience and legal background essential for the role.
In addition to being licensed to practice law in Texas, he is also licensed in Arizona, Colorado, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Southern, Eastern, Western, and Northern U.S. District Courts in Texas. He was the 2023-24 Chairman of the Commercial and Consumer Law Section of the Houston Bar Association. In 2024, Brian was elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
My twin goals are to bring integrity and fairness to the 270th District Court. I firmly believe that justice is not a one-size-fits-all proposition; it requires thoughtful consideration, an understanding of the facts, and the ability to render decisions based on the law and not on political pressures. It’s not just about knowing the law—it’s about applying it in a way that ensures trust in our legal system. Over the years, I have learned that competency is a product of both experience and the willingness to always strive for fairness. This is the kind of leadership I will bring to the bench.
