Occupation Attorney
I am an experienced trial attorney and former special-crimes prosecutor with extensive courtroom experience handling serious felony cases, including complex legal and evidentiary issues. I have represented victims, worked closely with law enforcement, and ensured that cases were handled fairly, efficiently, and according to the law. In private practice, I have continued to litigate in district courts, giving me a balanced perspective on both sides of the justice system. I am committed to fairness, preparation, and respect for the rule of law, and I believe judges must be impartial, patient, and dedicated to administering justice without bias.
One pressing issue is case backlog and court efficiency. I will address this by maintaining a consistent docket, setting clear expectations for readiness, and encouraging early resolution when appropriate, while always protecting defendants’ rights. A second issue is public confidence in the fairness of the courts. I will promote transparency, treat every person with dignity, apply the law evenly, and ensure that all parties are heard. By being prepared, respectful, and impartial on the bench, the court can function more efficiently while maintaining trust in the justice system.
