My 32 years of public service as an Attorney with both Lone Star Legal and the Office of the Attorney General provided a wide range of family practice areas, customer/client base and first chair trial experience. My job was to ensure the law was applied fairly and decisively to those seeking legal services in courts in Harris and contiguous counties, Federal Courts across a number of Districts and states. I hold the same belief that all families deserve grace when seeking to protect their children, values and property. I have the experience and mindfulness to apply the law with transparency, fairness and respect for all parties. There are no unimportant cases.
The Court has to address the needs of parties that do not have access to legal services or low-cost representation. Establishing community engagement with law school clinics will assist in providing legal services at little or no cost.
The Court has to identify areas that prevent attorneys and self- represented parties from having equal access in resolving cases.
Ensure manual copies of current policy and procedure, legal referral/guides are made readily available in the office suite.
