Occupation
Attorney
I have been a trial and appellate lawyer in Harris County for the last 27 years.
Justice must be fair and available to all. Justice should not be unnecessarily delayed.
The way I see it, the role of a judge is like a baseball umpire. Your job is to call balls and strikes. If you do your job right, you do not affect the outcome of the game. You made sure it was played according to the rules.
Also, I will work diligently to make sure hearings are conducted promptly, and that cases ready for trial, get a trial.
