I have served since 2019 and am proud to have been the voice for my working-class community. During my time, I have served on committees: Calendars, Transportation, and Human Services among others.
The fair and equal representation of my district is my biggest concern. The gerrymandering and the strong-arm tactics of the Republican majority diminish the voice of my community. I stand up for my community and push back against their attempts to silence us. The issue of representation keeps us from focusing on the most pressing issues in my community. Real-world issues like affordability, housing, public education, and protecting the rights of everyone, including the undocumented community.
