Occupation
Self Employed Construction and International Trade
As a lifelong resident of House District 144 and with the district’s close proximity to the Houston Ship Channel, I bring firsthand understanding of the region’s strategic role in international trade. My professional background in global commerce allows me to recognize the significant economic opportunities that can attract new businesses and create quality jobs for the residents of HD 144. Equally important, I have a deep respect for the blue-collar workforce that drives this economy and a clear understanding of the daily challenges and hardships they face.
1. Property Tax Reform
I will work to reduce and ultimately eliminate property taxes by pursuing responsible tax reform that protects homeowners, seniors, and working families while ensuring local governments remain accountable and efficient.
2. Public Safety & Bail Reform
I will prioritize public safety by opposing policies that allow dangerous offenders to be automatically released on little or no bail. Judges must retain the discretion to keep violent and repeat offenders off our streets while ensuring fair and constitutional due process.
