In serving my community over the last 20 years has allowed me to better identify and provide solutions to my community's life questions.
Having been an editor of a three county newspaper has enriched my knowledge of understanding and has allowed me to experience our people's needs in the area of health and economics.
Thirdly, I have both endorsed, volunteered or covered many of our past political campaigns.
Additionally I have Edited & Authored real immigration Reform in the past (2010).
I have seen both the growth & decline of the political panorama and am well versed in our communities needs.
Because its about our children, mothers, grandmother's and husbands that makes up our District.
Economic Affordability & Healthcare
This Administration has decimated our economy and has cut into Healthcare not to mention that of veterans.
The economic relief can only come from real Immigration Reform. Allowing for immigrants to work and not be seized by ICE will both quickly allow food to be put on the table & drop inflation and food shortage scares down, thus providing reinforcement to an already downed economy.
The Healthcare status of this country is fading to grey.
Injection of Healthcare Preventative Medicine will greatly provide relief of an already failing Healthcare System.

Having had extensive experience working for seven years in industrial control systems with concentration in cybersecurity and five years as a civil servant managing contracts for the Department of Defense, I am knowledgable about many industries. My work spans from oil refineries here and abroad, to military digital technologies for the US and its Allies. My experience has allowed me to see first hand how the decisions made in Washington affect the health, work, and life of everyday Americans.
The most pressing issues that I will face in office are 1) the economic condition of the average American, and 2) keeping pace with the effects of technological advances. My goal is to make sure that those affected at this time have the resources to maintain their wellbeing. In addition, I aim to build industries while protecting and invigorating communities across the United States. To accomplish these, I will focus on three things:
1) Guaranteeing Universal Healthcare for all Americans,
2) Maintaining the Security of our Nation and its citizens, and
3) Developing the Workforce to support these initiatives through training and jobs.

I am an attorney licensed in Texas and Louisiana and I am a former educator. I am currently Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Iowa Colony. I have been on city council since May 2021. Being on city council affords me the opportunity to make policy decisions based on the issues and how they will affect the residents of the city without the blur of party lines. I make my decisions looking at the long-term effects of our policies. As a result, I have consistently shown the vision, experience, and determination to get things done.
The two most pressing issues that I will face in Congress are the healthcare crises and the affordability crisis.
1) Healthcare: Millions of Americans are going to lose their healthcare because Congress is allowing the Affordable Care Act subsidies to expire. We must pass universal healthcare. Having health insurance should not be tied to employment or economic status. It is the right of every American to have healthcare. It is a right, not a privilege.
2) Affordability: Housing, healthcare, childcare, education, and the cost of everyday goods have all surged, but incomes have not. Congress must raise the federal minimum wage. We need to expand tax credits for working families and lower the costs for housing, healthcare, and essentials.

Bringing down the cost of living, preserving social security, affordable care insurance. My plan is to create and write bills and support legislative laws that will protect each of these issues.
