For nearly twenty years, I have advocated for Veterans, first responders, and their families. I have helped thousands navigate the VA’s bureaucracy, using my experience to cut through red tape and fight for those who sacrificed for our freedoms. I have counseled Warriors battling PTSD, pointing them toward healing through faith and community. I’ve mentored men and boys to be leaders in their homes, churches, and communities. These experiences have shown me both the power of private, faith-driven compassion and the destructive weight of government overreach. My beliefs are simple and deeply held: shrink government, empower the individual, protect constitutional liberties, and return authority to families, churches, and local communities.
My top priorities are securing the border and restoring economic freedom. Cartel crime, fentanyl trafficking, and weak enforcement in sanctuary states and cities are spilling into Texas and straining our communities. I’ll fight to finish the wall, mandate E-Verify, strengthen coordination, and disrupt cartel pipelines. I’ll also cut federal regulations and government overreach, defend parental rights, and unleash American energy to lower costs. As a Veteran who’s battled federal bureaucracy, I know limited government protects families.

While in school, I founded a software company that developed one of the first web content management systems, that was used by several Fortune 500 clients. After selling the business in my twenties, I began a career in energy, building several successful businesses in E&P, midstream transportation, and oil services. These business created thousands of jobs and provided significant economic impact on many small communities throughout south and west Texas. Today, I have mostly divested from the energy business and runs a small office with primary interests in real estate, finance and venture capital.
Capitalism has the unique ability to unleash the human spirit of creativity and innovation. The power of free markets and entrepreneurship changed the trajectory of my life just as it has for countless other Americans. Capitalism and the nation of small businesses it fosters have lifted generations of Americans out of poverty and has been the foundation of what made America great. I will give the Trump Administration the resources, they need to deport criminal illegals, gang members, so that our communities can be safer once and for all. That also means giving our local law enforcement officers the tools they need to assist in deporting dangerous illegals out of our communities.

I have spent more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry, working alongside people from all walks of life and from around the world. I have lived in the The Woodlands area for 25 years, where I raised three children to adulthood and am currently raising my 14-year-old.

I participated in the American Shale Revolution that helped the United States achieve energy independence, and I have trained and mentored many others throughout the energy industry. My work has brought me into contact with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, giving me a broad understanding of global perspectives.
I am running with a particular focus on addressing the national debt, which I believe is one of the greatest threats to our country’s future. Requiring that a balanced budget be passed—without exceptions—would force departments to make necessary and difficult cuts.

I consider myself a moderate republican and would listen to the constituents of Texas district 8 and pursue policies that would improve their lives.

race description American. Texan. Period.
My father and I fled Vietnam during the Fall of Saigon with nothing but the clothes on our backs as communism destroyed our homeland. Adrift for three days without food or water, we were rescued by the U.S. Navy. America saved our lives and gave us a future I will never forget.

I repaid America the only way I knew how. I put on the uniform.  and fought for us in three separate wars.

After the military, I spent 12 years in the Oil & Gas industry, advancing energy independence while empowering thousands of veterans to find healing and successful reintegration.

I swore an oath to defend our country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Now I'm stepping up to save the America that saved me by facing our enemies destroying us from within.
In TX08, the two issues I hear most from families are border security, illegal immigration, inflation, energy costs, jobs, and infrastructure strained by our rapid growth.

First, border security. As a combat veteran, I will fight to finish the wall, reinstate Remain in Mexico, end catch & release, fully fund ICE and Border Patrol, cut federal dollars to sanctuary policies, and protect our communities from crime.

Second, jobs, the economy, and growth. We will unleash American energy by slashing regulations to lower fuel and grocery prices, create good-paying jobs, curb wasteful spending, and deliver federal funding for vital road expansions in booming areas in TX08, all without raising taxes.
