I am qualified to serve as Harris County Commissioner for Precinct 2 because of my commitment to public service, hands-on leadership experience, and understanding of community needs. I have worked closely with residents, nonprofits, and local leaders to address infrastructure, flooding, public safety, transportation, and quality-of-life issues. I understand the responsibilities of Commissioners Court in managing budgets, allocating resources, and overseeing essential county services. I bring integrity, transparency, and accountability to public office, and I believe government should be accessible and responsive. As Commissioner, I will listen to constituents, collaborate with partners, and work to ensure Precinct 2 receives its fair share
The two most pressing issues facing Harris County Precinct 2 are flooding, infrastructure, and public safety. Flooding threatens homes, property values, and local businesses. As Commissioner, I will focus on core responsibilities by prioritizing flood control projects, maintaining drainage systems, and ensuring bond and federal funds are spent efficiently and where they are needed most. Public safety is equally critical. I will support strong law enforcement, faster emergency response, and coordination with first responders to keep neighborhoods safe. Investing in reliable roads, lighting, and basic services will protect taxpayers, strengthen communities, and ensure county government works responsibly and effectively.
