Exclusive original jurisdiction over misdemeanors where the fine allowed exceeds $500 or confinement in the county jail does not exceed one year. Decisions from the municipal and justice of the peace courts may be appealed to county criminal courts at law. 4-year term.

As a former prosecutor, I have fought for justice. I have spent my life standing up for what is right. I believe we need judges who are experienced trial attorneys and willing to go to trial.

I'm proud to be the only female in the race and believe I bring insight into important issues such as domestic violence that is harming so many members of our community.
Crime has been on the rise in Houston. We need judges who are tough on crime and who also protect the rights of the innocent.
