I am a product of Cy Fair public schools and a longtime resident of House District 135. I served as Chief of Staff to State Representative Jon Rosenthal, representing this same district, where I worked on state budgets, legislation, and constituent services. I previously ran Rosenthal’s campaign, flipping a seat held by a 24 year incumbent. I am also a small business owner and communications strategist, giving me firsthand experience with Texas’ economy and regulatory environment. Most recently, I served as lead strategist for the historic 2025 Cy Fair ISD school board elections that restored pro public education leadership. These experiences prepare me to serve effectively on day one.
The two most pressing issues are public education funding and healthcare access. Texas is underfunding public schools while shifting costs to local taxpayers. I will fight to fully fund schools through the state budget, increase per student allotments, protect special education, and oppose voucher schemes that drain public dollars. Texas also leads the nation in uninsured residents. I will work to expand Medicaid, strengthen mental health services, and invest in community based care so families can access care before emergencies, improving outcomes and lowering long term costs.
I am a product of Cy Fair public schools, a small business owner, and a lifelong community advocate. I grew up in this district and later served as Chief of Staff to the State Representative for the same community. I believe government works best when it is transparent, accountable, and rooted in equity. Outside of work, I am an advocate for the arts, a sports fanatic, a podcast enthusiast, and I proudly root for everything University of Houston. I am running to protect public education, expand healthcare access, and ensure state policy reflects the needs of the people who live here, not special interests.
I support fully funding public education as the state’s primary responsibility, regardless of any school choice policies. That includes increasing the basic allotment, restoring inflation adjustments, and fully funding special education, bilingual education, and transportation. I oppose programs that divert public dollars from neighborhood schools without accountability or academic standards. If alternative programs exist, they must meet the same transparency, testing, and civil rights protections as public schools. I also support stronger investments in teacher pay, school facilities, and student mental health so every child has access to a high quality public education close to home.
I support expanding Medicaid to lower costs, close coverage gaps, and bring Texas tax dollars home. The state should strengthen oversight of insurance markets, reduce prescription drug costs, and invest in preventive care so families are not forced to rely on emergency rooms. I support funding community health centers, maternal health programs, and mental health services, including crisis response options that do not rely on law enforcement. State government plays a critical role in promoting a healthy Texas by prioritizing access, affordability, and prevention through responsible budgeting and strong public health infrastructure.
Texas must treat water as essential public infrastructure. I support investing in water conservation, fixing aging pipes, and reducing waste through leak detection and modern infrastructure. The state should protect local control of water resources, strengthen oversight of groundwater and surface water use, and prevent corporate overextraction that harms communities. I support diversifying water sources through reuse, rainwater capture, and sustainable reservoirs while protecting rivers and aquifers. State funding should prioritize rural and fast growing areas and ensure affordability so access to clean, reliable water is not determined by zip code or income.
I support investing in public education, STEM programs, workforce training, and apprenticeships that connect Texans to good paying jobs in growing industries. Future proofing Texas’ economy means expanding clean energy, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, AI, and biotechnology while supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs. I support incentives tied to job quality, local hiring, and training, not giveaways without accountability. The state should invest in broadband, infrastructure, childcare, and research partnerships with universities so Texans can fully participate in the economy and growth is inclusive, resilient, and shared statewide.
I support expanding access to the ballot while maintaining secure elections. That includes expanding early voting hours, making vote by mail accessible to all eligible voters, and ensuring polling locations are accessible and adequately staffed. I support same day voter registration and stronger protections against voter intimidation and improper voter roll purges. Election security should focus on reliable equipment, paper trails, and well trained election workers, not barriers that discourage participation. Texas can protect election integrity while making it easier for eligible voters to participate, because access and security are not in conflict.
