Occupation Private Investigator
I bring 29+ years of law enforcement and investigative experience, including roles as a police officer, licensed private investigator, and internal investigator. I hold a Master’s in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership, graduating summa cum laude both from Texas A&M. As owner of Trace Investigations and developer of a special district in Houston, I have led complex investigations and collaborated with law enforcement, community members, and local stakeholders to improve public safety. My leadership is grounded in integrity, moral clarity, and service to the community.
1. Public Safety: HD 126 faces property crime, violent crime, and nuisance issues. I will expand community-based policing, strengthen collaboration with law enforcement and local stakeholders, and advocate for targeted funding for crime prevention, officer training, and technology-driven monitoring. Reducing crime will drive initiative number two. 2. Housing and Economic Growth: Families and businesses need affordable housing and vibrant commercial areas. I will support responsible development, streamline permitting by working with leaders to cut red tape, and promote public-private partnerships to revitalize neighborhoods while ensuring safety, livability, and economic opportunity.
I’m a Christian, wife, and homeschool mom who has spent decades serving my community in law enforcement and investigations. I’m committed to public safety, justice, and doing what’s right, guided by integrity and moral clarity. I bring real-world experience, practical problem-solving, and a servant’s heart to represent the people of House District 126 and help make our neighborhoods safer and stronger- with the actual experience to make it happen.
I believe that all Texas students currently have access to various educational opportunities.
First and foremost, each individual is responsible for their health. It is not the government's role or responsibility to maintain individual personal health. That being said, we need a healthcare system overhaul to eliminate fraud and waste that is costing our families thousands. Insurance companies rolling in excess bloat while patients struggle to meet their bills, and doctors are not getting paid, is not the way. I support MAHA principles that our healthcare should start in the grocery aisles. We fix our food, we fix many of not only our health issues, but our productivity as well.
As a water board director, this is personal to me. Our board currently did a loss study to determine how much water was being wasted/lost. The conclusion was to install smart meters to assist the customers in determining leaks early. I beleive these types of infrastructure projects are paramount to the large scale issues.
Offering tax breaks for companies to come to our communities, offering jobs, housing and growth opportunities will always be supported by me.
Photo identification requirements. Oversight in voter registration (making sure colleges are turning documents in on time so voters don't miss the deadline.) Cleaning of the voter rolls to remove deceased voters. If people lose faith in our ability to vote securely, we have a much larger problem to tackle. This has to get cleaned up.

Education Bachelor of Science in Gerontology-1995 ; Masters Degree in Education-2001 Both from the Universtiy of North Texas
Occupation Executive Assistant to the President of J Alan Kent Development; Owner of KPDC, LLC providing creative opportunities for adults with special needs.
I have extensive experience in public service, constituent advocacy, and legislative operations. I previously served as District Director for State Representative Sam Harless, working directly with constituents, state agencies, and local governments to resolve issues and navigate state services. My professional background includes business administration, oil field consulting, real estate development, and small business ownership, including operating a dance studio serving students of all abilities. These experiences strengthened my understanding of workforce needs, special needs, and community inclusion. I am known for being organized, accessible, and solutions-focused, with a commitment to accountability and effective communication.
One of the most pressing issues is rising crime and ensuring residents feel safe in their communities. I will support coordinated efforts with law enforcement, prosecutors, and local officials, advocate for resources that improve response times and crime prevention, and work to strengthen victim assistance and community safety initiatives. A second key issue is managing rapid growth so infrastructure and public safety keep pace. I will work with local governments and state agencies to prioritize road improvements, drainage, and responsible development while supporting funding approaches that protect homeowners from unnecessary cost increases.
I have lived in the district for the past 20 years, raised my family here, and worked in both the public and private sectors. These experiences have given me firsthand insight into the challenges families and businesses face on a daily basis. I believe public service should be accessible, practical, and responsive, and I value listening first, clear communication, and follow-through. I am committed to helping residents navigate systems that are often more complicated than they need to be, and to serving the community with integrity, accountability, and steady leadership.
I support measures that strengthen public education while ensuring accountability across all education options. This includes fully funding public schools, supporting teacher recruitment and retention, and expanding high-quality career and technical education programs. CTE should align with local workforce needs and provide clear pathways through partnerships with school districts, community colleges, and employers. I believe local educators are best positioned to serve their communities, and local control should be respected. Any school choice policies must include clear standards and financial accountability so public schools remain strong and accessible to all students.
I support measures that improve access to affordable healthcare while strengthening transparency, efficiency, and outcomes. This includes expanding access to mental health services, supporting maternal and women’s healthcare, and strengthening the healthcare workforce. The state should reduce unnecessary regulatory barriers, improve access to primary and preventive care, and support rural and underserved communities. State government also plays a key role in promoting public health through education, prevention, and mental health initiatives that help Texans stay healthy and reduce long-term healthcare costs.
Texas’ rapid population growth requires decisive, long-term water sourcing and management. I support investing in diversified and reliable supplies, including surface water, groundwater, reuse, and emerging strategies, to meet current and future demand. Reducing waste through infrastructure upgrades and conservation must be a priority. Water sourcing and ownership decisions should be driven by regional planning and strong local control, not one-size-fits-all mandates. The state’s role is to fund infrastructure, protect water rights, ensure transparency, and hold systems accountable so growth, economic development, and sustainability remain balanced for future generations.
I support policies that promote a strong, diversified economy and create good-paying jobs across Texas. This includes investing in workforce development, expanding career and technical education, and strengthening partnerships between schools, community colleges, and local employers to ensure workers have skills aligned with industry needs. I also support responsible infrastructure investment, regulatory clarity, and policies that encourage small business growth and entrepreneurship. Economic development efforts should be regionally driven, respect local needs, and focus on attracting and retaining businesses that provide stable jobs and long-term opportunities for Texas families.
I support election laws that actively protect voting rights while ensuring elections are secure, accurate, and transparent. Texas voters should have dependable access to the ballot through adequate polling locations, sufficient early voting opportunities, clear voting procedures, and protections for voters with disabilities and seniors. Election security measures must be effective and consistently applied, but they should never disenfranchise eligible voters. I support fully funding election administration, improving training for election workers, and modernizing election systems so every lawful vote is counted and public confidence in our elections is strengthened.

Occupation Harris County Republican Party Vice Chair of Election Integrity / Semi Retired
I worked for many years as an electronics and software engineer and manager on major projects at LTV Aerospace, McDonnell Douglas, and Compaq Computer. As your elected County Clerk and Chief Election Official from 2010 to 2018, I completely modernized the office from mainframes and microfilm to modern computer systems. I created the electronic iPad poll book used for the last 10 years at polling locations. For the last 2½ years, I’ve volunteered as the Harris County Republican Party Vice-Chair for Election Integrity and Chairman of the Ballot Security Committee. I'm known nationally as an election integrity leader, and I’ve worked with the Texas Legislature for 15 years on election laws, fighting for fair and secure elections.
In the Texas House, I’ll fight for property tax reform and strengthening the integrity of our elections—my two top priorities—while also supporting law enforcement, flooding infrastructure efforts and leading on conservative issues. My experience serving as Harris County Clerk and Chief Election Official, along with my relationships with Texas leaders and legislators, will make me very effective on day one in the Texas House. I'm known across Texas as a proven conservative leader who has delivered competent, conservative, and efficient government. As a former precinct chair, three-term Republican Club President, and 30-year resident of HD126, I'm ready to serve as its next State Representative.
I’m endorsed by Senator Paul Bettencourt; State Representatives Mike Schofield, Valoree Swanson, Briscoe Cain, Steve Toth, Cody Vasut, Richard Hayes, Joanne Shofner, Keresa Richardson, and Janis Holt; and organizations including Conservative Republicans of Texas, The Link Letter, Texas Conservative Review, Conservative Republicans of Harris County, Kingwood Tea Party, and Texas Values Action. I am honored by the overwhelming support from grassroots leaders—including State Republican Executive Committee members and over 350 Republican club members and precinct chairs—who have also endorsed my campaign.
A strong education is critical for the success of Texas. In 2025, per-student funding was increased to record highs. Public schools are the core of Texas education, but due to failures in some ISDs, school choice was given to parents to remove their children from failing schools. School choice provides competition and motivation for every education provider to deliver the highest quality education. New Texas laws provide more dollars for public school teachers, as keeping the best and brightest teachers is very important for the success of our students. I understand that woke and non-performing educators oppose higher quality standards, but competition can and will help all Texas students obtain the quality education they deserve.
I support conservative solutions to control healthcare costs, including greater transparency in drug costs, restrictions on doctor non-compete agreements, and increased transparency in practices that impact inflated drug prices. I support policies that emphasize informed consent, parental rights, and reducing mandates for vaccines—especially emergency drugs like COVID-19 that were not fully tested. I support increased funding for alternatives-to-abortion programs and pregnancy resource centers, while providing common-sense solutions that protect the rights of medical professionals to decline participating in procedures that conflict with their religious or moral beliefs.
I support the Republican Party of Texas platform, which prioritizes private property rights, market-based incentives, and innovative infrastructure investments to ensure that a growing Texas can meet water challenges driven by drought and population growth. Fixing leaking infrastructure to prevent loss while promoting modern technology to reuse and recycle water resources are all part of the best solutions for using and preserving our Texas water resources. The constitutional amendment passed in November 2025 will help with low-cost financing for major water projects in Texas.
Texas is the top economy in the nation, with constitutional prohibitions on state income, wealth, and estate taxes. Texas and the Texas economy grow due to low taxes, deregulation, energy leadership, and policies that incentivize companies and workers to move here. While progress has been made on property taxes, they are still too high; I look forward to working with fellow Republicans on a solution. I believe the Texas budget has grown too big, and I support a freeze in state spending with a cap moving forward limiting spending to population growth plus inflation. I will support regulatory reforms and deregulation to reduce barriers to innovation, expansion, and new business creation.
Having served as County Clerk and Chief Election Official of Harris County and currently serving as the Harris County Republican Party Vice-Chair for Election Integrity, I will be the most knowledgeable and experienced legislator in Texas on election law. There are still issues with ensuring our voter rolls are well maintained, as dead people and those who have moved out of Harris County remain on the voter rolls. Enhanced chain-of-custody, more auditing, and limiting mail-in ballots to those who are physically unable to vote in person are some of the solutions needed to increase the integrity of our elections. Texas needs my election expertise in the Texas House, and I ask for your vote as your State Representative.
