To represent the people of District 26 in a constitutional and fiscally conservative manner, standing against laws that expand government and eliminating those that restrict liberty.
I have managed businesses for 45 years and have experienced firsthand the negative impact of legislation, bureaucracy, and regulations that can hinder business growth. Our government needs to provide strong support for businesses. I look forward to applying my business experience to create common-sense legislation that fosters a positive environment for businesses.
I will propose legislation to eliminate property taxes for seniors (aged 65 and older) and veterans. I have visited 4,500 doorsteps, and the most common concern I hear is that many people can pay off their homes, yet they still have to pay the state and ongoing annual fees to live there. These individuals have worked hard to achieve the American dream and have contributed to the tax base for years. It is time to acknowledge their property rights.
The impact this will have on local taxation, which funds schools, will need to be compensated for with additional funds from the state level. I also plan to implement cost-cutting measures in spending, similar to the initiatives previously undertaken in Washington.

Arkansas State Senate District 26
To be the voice of the River Valley, Senate District 26 constituents, some 86,000 hard working Arkansans. Duties would include crafting and voting on laws, serving on committees, and advocating for local needs.
For decades, I have worked in government and community relations, driven by a passion for finding practical solutions that genuinely improve the lives of everyday people. These experiences have profoundly shaped my perspective and fueled my commitment to pursing public service.
Working alongside both the utility and eldercare sectors taught me something important: the challenges we face aren’t abstract. They’re about keeping the heat on for families, making sure our parents and grandparents are cared for with dignity, and ensuring local businesses have the support they need to grow.
Opposing the funding for the proposed Franklin County prison site. As your Senator, I would not support it, nor would I vote to fund it. As a fiscal conservative, I cannot support spending $1 billion on a 3,000-bed prison when our state has so many other needs. Our jails are overcrowded so perhaps funding might be better directed toward addressing the mental health crisis. As Senator I’ll work with everyone to find a responsible solution for a new prison in a location that makes sense.
