Arcadia Township ProposalProposal Renewal of Reduced 0.1 Mill for Street LightingShall the expiring (in 2025) previous voted increase in the limitation on general ad valorem taxes in the Township of Arcadia imposed under Article 9, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution, which has been reduced to 0.1942 mill by required millage rollbacks, be reduced and further renewed at not more than 0.1 mill ($0.10 per $1,000 of taxable value) and be levied for one year in 2030 on all taxable real and personal property in the Township of Arcadia for disbursement to the Township of Arcadia for the purpose of street lighting, thereby raising an estimated $10,035.00 in the year the milage is levied, with any surplus from the levies through 2025 to be applied to the costs of a continuation of the street lighting program in 2026-2029.
