MI AC Fillmore Township FIRE AND FIRST RESPONSE PROTECTION RENEWAL MILLAGE PROPOSITION
Shall a previous increase in property taxes for all property in the Fillmore Township, Allegan County, Michigan, above the 15 mill tax limitation imposed by Section 6 of Article IX of the Michigan Constitution, to provide funds for fire and first response protection service, which increase has been reduced by required rollback to 1.8157 mills, be renewed and increased to 2.0 mills ($2.00 per $1000.00 of Taxable Value) for five years, 2026 through 2030, inclusive, and shall the Township be authorized to levy the tax? The estimated revenue the Township will collect if the millage is approved and levied in the 2026 calendar year is approximately $392,000.00.
