Petoskey City Council Member - Ward 3 (Partial Term ending 12/31/2026)
The City of Petoskey is governed by a council composed of five (5) members: the mayor and four (4) councilmembers, one (1) representing each ward. Except as provided elsewhere in the City Charter or by general law, the city council shall exercise all the powers conferred upon cities by state law, to adopt all ordinances and resolutions and to otherwise govern. The city council shall provide through the city manager for the public peace and health and for the safety of persons and property.

My financial skills as a CPA and owner of many small business in my adult life gives me a unique ablity to understand the complex financial issues facing Petoskey. Further, I have extensive history on serving on not for profit and for profit boards where the need to work with a team to reach consenus is critical to move an organization forward for the common good.
I will put in the time needed to objectively understand all the issues facing Petoskey considering all the pros and cons to devlop an opinion to proceed keeping in mind the impact of theses decesions to all the taxpayers of our city.
I will seek to meet with as many people in Ward three to hear their concerns and suggestions.
