Qualifications for Office My qualifications come from years of bringing people with different perspectives together to solve complex problems. As a product manager, I’ve built consensus among competing stakeholders and turned plans into results. As a parent and neighbor, I know how important it is to listen first and act thoughtfully. These skills prepare me to serve Dublin with balance, transparency, and accountability.
Balancing economic development with neighborhood preservation is one of Dublin’s greatest challenges. Growth must strengthen our city without reducing safety, character, or quality of life. By requiring strong site controls, focusing on redevelopment of existing areas, and ensuring residents have a real voice in planning, we can achieve both vitality and protect neighborhood integrity. A 2nd challenge is ensuring young people who grew up here can stay and raise families, while also providing options for seniors to thrive. By supporting housing choices for all stages of life, enhancing community amenities, and continuing to carefully foster a pro-business, pro-innovation environment, we can keep Dublin vibrant and welcoming for generations.
My priorities are to guide growth in Dublin’s Special Areas, which include the West Innovation District and Southwest Area, revitalize existing business districts, and expand affordable and diverse living options. Any initiatives I support or decisions I make will be grounded in data, ensuring we balance economic vitality with neighborhood protection. Data will also guide how we strengthen connectivity and inclusion—by identifying where investments in community spaces, technology, and engagement will have the greatest impact. These priorities can be financed through public–private partnerships, reinvestment of economic development revenues, and targeted state and federal grants, while keeping a balanced, transparent city budget.
Central Ohio’s growth requires that Dublin continues to lead with smart, forward-looking planning. We must expand housing options that support every stage of life—from young adults starting out to seniors who want to remain close to family. That means encouraging development that offers diverse, attainable housing and creating complete neighborhoods where people can live, work, and play in the community they love. By strengthening walkability, expanding transportation options that keep Dublin connected within our city and to surrounding communities, and investing in modern infrastructure, we can welcome new residents while protecting the character and quality of life that make our city thrive.
My approach to engagement is rooted in collaboration. I believe Dublin is strongest when we bring generations together—harnessing the experiences and skills our older residents possess while inviting the fresh ideas and optimism of our youth. I would support the formation of inclusive, direct community councils that reflect this balance and offer new spaces for dialogue. Reflecting on my own decision to run for council, I feel it is also important to support pathways to leadership, so our youth and emerging community leaders feel prepared to contribute. Paired with neighborhood and online forums and digital outreach, these approaches ensure that residents have meaningful opportunities to shape the decisions that guide Dublin’s future.
My approach to building consensus starts with respect and listening. Throughout my career, I have found that even when stakeholders disagree, there is often common ground—and my role as a City Council representative is to create space for those connections. By encouraging open dialogue, focusing on shared goals, and being transparent about the options and trade-offs, I can help bridge differences and move us toward solutions that work for the whole community. I will also communicate clearly about the reasons behind decisions, so residents understand how their input shaped the results. Transparency, civility, and inclusivity will guide how I work with our community to find solutions to deliver optimal outcomes for all.
