I have spent my career leading engineering and project teams in large scale industrial construction projects that demand clear communication, accountability, and problem solving under pressure. While I have never held political office, my experience has prepared me to lead with transparency, make informed decisions, and ensure Greer’s resources are invested wisely to create lasting value for our community.
If elected, my top priorities will be to promote smart, neighborhood-friendly growth, making sure new development strengthens infrastructure and improves quality of life without overwhelming our community.
I will also work to increase transparency and accountability in how taxpayer dollars are spent, giving residents a clear view of budgets and projects and confidence that city resources are managed wisely.
Finally, I want to keep Greer, Greer by protecting the character, values, and sense of community that make our city unique, while ensuring growth enhances rather than erases what makes Greer a special place to call home.
To reduce the impact of increasing development, I would prioritize improvements to roads and public services while working closely with the utility commission to ensure clear communication and coordination. I support neighborhood friendly growth that fits the character of our community instead of high density projects that strain resources. Residents should also have more input in planning decisions so growth enhances Greer without diminishing what makes it unique.
City Council should encourage affordable housing by supporting projects that fit Greer’s growth plan and serve local families and workers. I believe in partnerships and zoning solutions that expand options while ensuring infrastructure keeps pace. Affordable housing should strengthen our community and provide opportunities without sacrificing neighborhood character or quality of life.
