Occupation Licensed Social Worker, Certified Coach

Qualifications for Office I am currently serving my fourth year as a member of the Dublin City Schools Board of Education. I am a Licensed Social Worker, a long-time district volunteer, and a current Dublin City Schools parent. I have served as a room parent 8 times and as PTO President for 5 years at Davis Middle School and Scioto High School. I also served as a Dublin Education Foundation board member for over 3 years.
DCS is facing threats to funding from the statehouse such as the possibility of limiting funds a district can carryover and even eliminating property taxes altogether. DCS receives about 14% of its funding from the state and therefore must rely on local sources for the other 86% to provide the educational experience that our students deserve and our community expects.

Community members are expressing the desire to keep property taxes at affordable rates, so it is important that the district continues to connect with lawmakers to advocate for the resources needed to provide the educational experience our students need, while also being good stewards of taxpayer dollars.
1. Mental Health & Well-Being: Students learn best when their basic needs are met. I am committed to helping students connect to the resources they need so that they are ready and able to learn. 2. Resilience: Students succeed when they learn to confidently navigate potential stressors. I am committed to making sure students are supported through change and challenges. 3. Safety: Students deserve a safe and secure learning environment. I am committed to making sure our schools are places where students feel safe to learn. 4. Excellent Educational Experience: Students deserve an excellent educational experience that sets them up for success, no matter which building they attend, or what success looks like for them. No special finance needed.
The main role of a school board member is to demonstrate effective governance and support the overall wellbeing of the school district. With this comes the responsibilities of providing oversight of the district, setting the vision and goals for the district, strategic planning, establishing policy, approving and monitoring the budget, supporting student achievement, representing the community, and evaluating the superintendent.

As a licensed social worker, I understand how policy and social issues affect our students and I have served on the policy committee for my entire tenure on the board. My knowledge, experience, and ability to help the district navigate challenging situations during difficult and uncertain times is an asset.
Board members work in partnership with the superintendent to engage the community and establish the values, goals, and objectives for the district. Therefore, it is important for school board members to be active in the community and committed to representing its diverse members. Together we can create a district where all students are supported and prepared to succeed inside and outside of the classroom.

I strive to respond to every community member who sends me an email unless there is a legal or policy-related reason why I cannot. I also often offer to meet with those who reach out to me with questions or concerns. I plan to continue this in my second term and look forward to hosting my own monthly "Tea with Tiffany" conversations.
I pride myself on being a level-headed listener. As a social worker, I am trained to actively listen to diverse viewpoints without judgement while respecting different cultures and the worth of every individual. I meet each person where they are and listen with a curious spirit, a strengths-based perspective, and a focus on solutions. I always ask myself and others “how can we best serve students?” I intentionally think about the intended and unintended consequences of every decision that I make and the impact it might have on students. There are times when various stakeholders and groups may have conflicting wants and/or interests, so it is important to be open to dialogue and keep a solution-focused mindset.

Occupation Project Manager
Education Bachelor of Science Business Management
Qualifications for Office Project Manager at AEP (American Electric Power), Staff at Legislative Service Commission (LSC) & Legislative Information Systems (LIS), (State of Ohio), Commission Member on Community Services Advisory Committee (CSAC), (City of Dublin) President, Ohio Pet Charities, nonprofit (OPC)
One of the most pressing issues facing public education today is the expansion of school voucher programs. These programs siphon critical funding away from our public schools where the vast majority of students are educated and redirect it to private schools serving only a small fraction of children. What many may not realize is that public schools provide a wide range of programs, from gifted education to special needs services. When funding is reduced, these essential programs suffer, and students are denied the resources and support they deserve. My plan is to work closely with the Dublin board and Ohio legislators to advocate for proper funding for all students. I will push for every child’s right to a high-quality public education.

Expand access to career and technical education through strong partnerships with programs like Tolles and Delaware Career & Technical Centers. Encourage dual enrollment, internships, and industry-recognized certifications that prepare students for high-demand, high-paying careers. Celebrate the achievements of all students whether they’re heading to a two- or four-year university, a trade school, an apprenticeship, the military, or directly into the workforce. Ensure every student graduates confident in their strengths, prepared for their future, and supported by their community. Dublin City Schools currently has a strategic plan Journey 2030 that maps to my platform and my goal is to bolster the plan with the superintendent and board.
District policy making, budgetary oversight, hiring and evaluation, curriculum and academic standards, facilities management, community representation, legislative advocacy, and ethical leadership. I bring government experience, nonprofit leadership, project management expertise, and deep community involvement, a combination that shows I both understand policy and deliver results. I am committed to leading with integrity, transparency, and a focus on the greater good. Public service is both a privilege and a responsibility, and I am ready to bring my full dedication to this important role. I believe in the resilience, creativity, and generosity of our community, and I know that by working together, we can achieve lasting progress.
Engaging with residents and stakeholders starts with listening. My experience as chair of the Dublin Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC) taught me the importance of creating open forums where residents feel comfortable sharing their concerns whether it’s about their neighborhoods, parks, or city services. I plan to continue that same approach by being accessible, attending community events, holding listening sessions, and maintaining open channels of communication. My background in state government and the nonprofit sector has reinforced the value of transparency and collaboration. I will work to ensure residents, teachers, students, and administrators all have a voice in the process.
My career as a project and program manager has required me to work across all levels of management, teams with diverse skills, and sponsors with varying agendas. Every project brings challenges and risks, and I’ve learned to address them head-on balancing care for participants while focusing on delivering the best outcome.

Conflict management is a core part of my work. I believe in the principle that “bad news doesn’t age well” and bring years of experience in managing expectations through timely, open, and honest communication. By fostering straightforward discussion, I ensure all voices are heard and that differing perspectives can be used to drive stronger, more effective solutions.

One of the most significant issues facing students and the community would be fair funding, including but not limited to the overdependency on property taxes. My plan is to propose alternative solutions utilizing data points and move away from the constant levy cycle. Partnership with legislators and engagement with the community is key to reflect the importance.

Another issue is ensuring we are preparing our kids to succeed post-high school, whether that means in a trade, traditional college, or entering directly into the workforce. I would like to have tangible objectives for success and ensure there are measurable outcomes in order to benchmark. It is also important to track our kids once the graduate.
Fair funding, completing exit interviews, creating a clear portrait of a learner, supporting our teachers, consolidation and benchmarking across initiatives
It is important to work with the employees of the board - treasurer and superintendent. The role of the board is to set policy and uphold the Ohio constitution. I am able to listen and take all perspectives into consideration. I also enjoy learning and believe that we are lifelong learners. Community engagement is key as policy is set by the people we serve.
I plan to go to the community and meet people where they are rather than insisting they always come to us. People are more comfortable in their spaces and it is important they feel we care to know their thoughts and opinions.
My approach first and foremost is to be an active listener. I always look to get back to curious because we all have different life experiences. I think that a difference of opinion is healthy and I welcome dialogue. As long as there is respect, I value productive discussion.

Occupation Education & Workforce Consultant
Education Masters Degree, The Ohio State University
Qualifications for Office 20+ years in Ohio public education as a teacher, principal, and district administrator (9 in Dublin)
Dublin City Schools faces rapid enrollment growth and an unstable school funding model in Ohio. Projections show continued expansion, especially in the northwest quadrant, requiring careful planning to balance school enrollment and potentially build new schools. At the same time, state and federal funding uncertainties create reliance on local property taxes. Addressing these challenges requires transparency, innovation, and collaboration to design cost-effective, community-supported solutions that keep student success at the center.
School board members should not bring personal agendas. My focus will be to listen, represent our community, and ensure decisions prioritize student outcomes. With 20+ years of public education experience, I’ll bring expertise and context to support informed, balanced decisions. My role will be to work collaboratively with fellow board members to ensure Dublin remains a strong district - providing students with the experiences and education they need to be prepared for our changing world - while addressing challenges with transparency and fiscal responsibility.
School board members govern with purpose: setting policy, adopting budgets, and selecting and evaluating the superintendent and treasurer. Their goal is to keep the district focused on student success and community values. With nine years as a Dublin administrator and superintendent licensure from OSU, I bring deep knowledge of the district and educational landscape. This experience allows me to contribute immediately as a collaborative, informed member of the board team.
I will actively engage with residents by attending school and community events, fostering open dialogue, and making myself accessible. As Dublin’s former Director of Community Engagement, I built strong relationships and a reputation as a connector and active listener. On the board, I’ll continue to ensure voices are heard and perspectives are valued, building transparency, credibility, and trust while representing fellow residents as a parent and community member.
Consensus begins with listening. I will approach every decision with an open mind, considering diverse perspectives and reliable data. While not everyone will agree, if decisions are made transparently and community voices are included, trust grows - even amid disagreement. My goal is to foster respectful dialogue and collaborative solutions that prioritize what matters most: supporting student learning and creating a district where every child can thrive.
