Qualifications for Office
As a qualified servant-leader with a clear understanding of my community, I serve in various roles, including my appointment to the Reynoldsburg Planning and Zoning Board and as a Sworn-in Chaplain for the Reynoldsburg Police Department, as well as an entrepreneurial role. I have a strong understanding of our community. I look forward to bringing my skills, as they are essential for its success.
One of the biggest challenges is that many families are unaware of the responsibilities of a township trustee. For the uninformed Truro Township community, I would suggest educating them through social media, the township website, and monthly township meetings about the specific services a township provides, including managing public services such as fire protection, road maintenance, cemeteries, roads, and water drainage.
Truro Township is not a wealthy community. During my term, I plan to focus on monitoring the expenses of our voted levies that fund local services. We have a fiscal responsibility to be transparent with our community. I will prioritize goals to avoid taking on unnecessary risks by generating steady revenue through park activities or rental fees for facilities. This revenue would help fund improvements in the community.
I would collaborate with the City Government to share resources, coordinate transportation plans, and engage with the Truro township community to discuss infrastructure and housing strategies.
To engage residents and community stakeholders, I would plan opportunities on day one for residents to form a community involvement group. Invite people to a space where they can share their concerns and make sure their input is valued and respected.
To build community trust among stakeholder groups, I listen to understand the issue, gather facts, investigate the problem as described, and explore potential compromises both parties can agree on. Once the solution is agreed upon, the trustees can implement it.

We MUST remain laser focused on our 3/5/10 plans. Maintain a tight control on spending.
Our primary and only priority is to the safety of our citizens. Our detailed plans for future needs keeps us well within budgetary constraints.
Truro Township is landlocked by other communities. We provide public safety services with our jurisdiction. With already established mutual agreements we are able to keep response times at their lowest points.
We hold monthly stated meetings. Email address, phone numbers and social media contact methods are available. Truro participates in many community events giving our citizens the opportunity to meet our members and to ask questions.
We are a very diverse community. This diversity makes Reynoldsburg/Truro Township stronger. With a focus on open, constructive communication, we are able to maintain the needed relationships with our community groups

Qualifications for Office
Lifetime resident of Truro Township. 20 years of experience as a Trustee. Management and Labor experience in private industry.
The top need is the Fire/EMS services. Continued training keeps our Fire personnel
ready to perform their job. Our community is very diverse; Communication is very
important and necessary. We accomplish this with flyers handed out at public events in
multiple languages.
Maintenance is always an issue. We accomplish this with shared services with other
political entities.
Our roads and Cemetery need maintenance and is accomplished with our road and cemetery maintenance crew.
Our top priority is the Fire and EMS Service. The township is funded through LGF
funds, gas tax and property taxes. We do our best to apply for grants and we are
successful with them.
We are always looking for ways to partner with other political entities for services such
as dispatching. These services are all paid for out of our budget.
Our township has limited growth opportunities. The infrastructure is already in place and
has been for years. We will continue to make sure our services are the best when they
are needed the most.
We have a monthly meeting open to the public. It is advertised as required by law. We
make ourselves available to the public as much as possible. Our Firefighters are out in
the public with their equipment at public events. We are very visible.
We keep in communication with the other entities. Local governments are entertwined
in various ways. There usually is a meeting when there are disagreements. Sometimes
it is just a phone call or email. The number one issue is that we take care of our
residents efficiently.
