Occupation Retired local business owner, current Jackson Township Trustee (Franklin County)
Education The Ohio State University, BS Education degree K-12 & Industrial Technology degree
Qualifications for Office Local business owner of 45 years, Served on the following: SWACO Board of Trustees, Grove City Planning Commission, Grove City 2050 plan, Jackson TWP Land Use planning, current Jackson TWP trustee
The lack of adequate road infrastructure due to the increased demand of commercial and residential developments. I propose to increase collaboration between Grove City, Urbancrest and the Township working together on a master road infrastructure plan.
Maintain adequate funding for the fire department with our current property tax structure and seek additional funding through grants. It is also essential to work with Grove City Council members to reduce the impact of tax incremental finance districts receiving a portion of our fire departments funding.
The Township has a small role in residential development due to not having sewer and water available for it's residents. Year 2024 we issued less than 25 residential building permits. Grove City and Urbancrest issued hundreds.
I always maintain an open ear to any concerned citizen and try to balance decision making for the greater good of the community.
I try to enter into any disagreement with an open mind and low expectations. From there through calm discussion, we can agree on the smallest items to build toward a resolution satisfactory to the majority.
