I have served on the City of Petoskey Planning Commission for the past 4 years and been heavily involved in the major issues facing the city during that time. I am ready to hit the ground running.
I am a consensus and team builder. I believe the best solutions to every issue require 1.) a clear understanding of the problem, 2.) research into best practice alternatives, 3.) development of a vision for the future, 4.) transparent presentation to the public for feedback, and 4.) final evaluation and decision making. My goal is to act in the best interests of the City and residents...current and future.
I have a website and FaceBook page that encourage feedback. If elected, I will be developing a monthly email newsletter with an open invitation to reply. In addition, I will be available to meet with City residents to discuss relevant issues as may be needed.
