Lowell Charter Township Spongy Moth Suppression Millage Proposal
For the purpose of providing funds for the suppression, monitoring, and control of spongy moths within Lowell Charter Township, shall the authorized charter millage for Lowell Charter Township established at 2.10 mills ($2.10 per $1,000 of taxable value) and reduced to 1.7019 mills ($1.7019 per $1,000 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be increased by 0.50 mills ($0.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) for three (3) years, 2025 through 2027, inclusive, and shall the Township levy such new additional millage for the aforementioned purpose?The following is for informational purposes:If approved and levied, this millage would raise an estimated $184,268 in the first year of the levy.
