Candidate Information Born in Chicago. Raised in NW Indiana. 1988 graduate of Hanover Central HS. Attended Indiana University NW. Moved to MI in 1990. Resident of Fennville for 22 years. Married for 21 years. 5 children and 18 grandchildren with #19 on the way! I work as Director of Facilities for FPS where I also coach football and do PA for other sporting events.
I have served on the Goose Festival Committee, the Board of Review, the DDA, the Planning Commission, and the City Commission in the past including 15 years as Mayor. I have knowledge of how our city government operates. I also believe I'm levelheaded and someone who looks for solutions to problems.
I think the biggest issue facing the City of Fennville is the loss of Pinnacle Foods. Not only a large employer but also a big user of the City of Fennville's water system. There is a big economic impact that will be felt.
I would love to look for ways to bring business to that building or ways we can save money on water and sewer so the burden isn't put on our citizens.
