South Haven is a wonderful town to live in and it's been doing well over the last decade. The city is investing in infrastructure and the expansion of Holtec's Palisade Nuclear Plant gives us a great opportunity to attract new citizens and create a more vibrant year-around town and area.

The issues I am focused on are economics and housing. Holtec will provide growth and the city should continue pursuing other commercial opportunities to bolster what we have and attract more high paying jobs. Housing is needed nationally, statewide, and here. I'm focused on identifying all available parcels (public and private) and working with a team to engage developers to build. We need all types of housing and modifying zoning should become part of our future housing strategy.
Through the utilization of social media, ongoing discussions on the strategy in city council meetings and through public hearings. I will also continue posting my own strategic vision on my facebook page for the public. It's important everyone understands data on the current situation, the 5 & 10 year strategic goals and progress towards achieving them.
