Short-term Improve transparency with weekly updates (including my schedule), monthly “Tent Halls” at parks, open office hours, council summaries, and a neighborhood rep program to keep all residents informed.

Strengthen Team EM by revitalizing citizen boards like Economic Development and Parks & Rec, and supporting staff with resources, growth opportunities, and better community connection.

Long-term Study, plan, and act to fund and build roads and infrastructure before problems arise—no waiting for outside help; we’ll identify funding tools and communicate options clearly.

Invest in quality of life by finishing and adding parks, expanding library services, supporting youth programs, and building visible partnerships with public safety.
Eagle Mountain has a unique tool most cities don’t—an Affordable Housing Fund from RDA-supported business projects. 10% of their property tax goes into this fund each year. The City Council created a Mortgage Assistance Program offering up to $25K in a forgivable loan to help families become homeowners. As the fund grows, I support adding Repair & Revitalization Grants, ADU incentives, and developing modified housing standards to make it more affordable to build starter homes.

I work with realtors, builders, and businesses on market-based solutions and helped launch a first-time homebuyer workshop. I created Blueprint, we connect youth to trades and offer monthly Home Maintenance 101 workshops to stretch homeowners’ budgets.
Growth is happening fast, but it must be managed with vision and accountability. I support completing our General Plan update with meaningful public input and making land-use decisions that reflect long-term values, not short-term convenience. While we can’t always build infrastructure ahead of demand, we can proactively prepare plans and engineering and forecast funding options to stay ahead. I will prioritize reviewing our impact fees every two years to ensure we’re ready to meet increased demands. Preserving open space and rural character requires smart zoning, expanded trails, park planning, and conservation tools that protect what makes Eagle Mountain home.
I actively participate in quarterly regional meetings with Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, Lehi, Cedar Fort, and Fairfield to coordinate on shared priorities—especially transportation.

I’m already working with neighboring councilmembers and a Utah County Commissioner to accelerate UTA’s micro-transit timeline. We’re also exploring a local loop pilot and partnership with our new school district for mobility that serves both concurrent enrollment students and local residents.

Our mayor must also have a strong presence at all MAG meetings. Each month, I’ll coordinate carpooling with fellow mayors to and from MAG meetings to strengthen collaboration and keep vital regional conversations going beyond the meeting room.
A sustainable future for Eagle Mountain means planning ahead—economically, environmentally, and as a community. I will support smart land use, proactive infrastructure planning, and policies that protect open space, water, and air quality. We must be fiscally responsible while also taking care of people—balancing strong budgets with strong communities. I’ll work with our City Council to prioritize long-term value and advance transportation solutions that ease congestion. I will also champion quality of life by supporting engaging community events that remind us where we came from and what we’re working to preserve. We can be the place our forefathers dreamt of—a shining city on a hill, a home of peace and prosperity for generations to come.
