I’m running because I love Uintah and believe in leading with action, not just words. I’ve served on City Council since 2017, secured nearly $2.5 million in state grants, and saved over $500,000 through smart partnerships. I stepped up to become our first licensed Cross-Connection Control Administrator and serve as Chair of the Utah Drinking Water Board. My motivation comes from protecting families, securing safe water, and ensuring Uintah grows wisely while keeping its close-knit charm. I believe in solutions, not politics, and I’ll keep showing up, listening, and getting things done.
First, water infrastructure. I’ve already helped Uintah secure millions in grants and will continue to lead in upgrading our systems with minimal impact to residents. Second, responsible growth. I put in place contracts so future growth pays its fair share. I’ll continue advocating for planning that protects our budget and rural charm. Third, community connection. I bring experience in social work and prevention programs, and I’ll prioritize family-friendly initiatives, mental health resources, and opportunities for residents to stay engaged and informed.
I’ve served on City Council since 2017 and currently chair the Utah State Drinking Water Board. I led efforts to secure nearly $2.5 million in grants for Uintah’s water system and saved the city over $500,000 through interlocal partnerships. I hold a license in Cross-Connection Control and bring a background in political science, sociology, and social work. My experience in policy, infrastructure, prevention, and family services helps me approach leadership with compassion, professionalism, and problem-solving focus.
Uintah is special because of its small-town feel, strong families, and outdoor beauty. I’ll protect that by supporting responsible growth that aligns with our values and ensures developers—not residents—pay for infrastructure. I’ll keep public spaces safe, well-maintained, and family-friendly. I believe in listening to residents, fostering youth involvement, and preserving our community’s voice and values through transparent leadership and thoughtful planning.
I believe in open, transparent communication. I’ll continue sharing updates through emails, social media, and town meetings. I’ll use clear, timely messages before major votes, explain the reasoning behind decisions, and always welcome public input. I’ll keep listening, responding, and making it easy for residents to stay informed and involved in city decisions—because this is your home, your voice matters, and you deserve to know what’s going on before it happens.
