City Council -Plain City
The City Council is the governing body of the city and enacts ordinances subject to the approval or veto of the mayor. It orders elections, levies taxes, authorizes public improvements, approves contracts, and adopts traffic regulations. City council members serve as the governing body for a specific geographic area. They create and review laws that best serve the constituents who voted them into office. The city council is the legislative branch of local government.2 at-large seats are open.
