I am the most experienced candidate. I have served as a board member and Chairman of the Birch Lake Improvement District, a tax district withing the City of White Bear Lake, for 12 years. I have extensive business management experience, and lots of community service experience.

My priorities are to Protect, Preserve, and Promote the City of White Bear Lake Protect Our Town • Control city spending to minimize property tax increases • Support seniors with city plan for sidewalks and parking lots. Preserve Our Charming Town • Limit high density housing • Remove red tape to help new businesses Promote Our Town • Review & update information and communication technology • Increase civic engagement especially with our youth • Promote our local businesses
Transparency – I will hold regular town halls (in-person and virtual) where residents can ask questions directly.

Accountability – I will release quarterly “State of the City” updates to show progress and setbacks honestly.

Ethical Conduct – I pledge not to take donations from entities seeking contracts with the city, or disclose all such contributions clearly. I will advocate for minimal closed-door sessions unless legally required.

Inclusive Engagement: I will hold listening sessions at schools, senior centers, businesses, and community hubs—not just City Hall.

Digital Input Options: I will create online surveys and polls to gather input from residents who can’t attend meetings.

Youth and Underrepresented Groups: Form advisory committees for young people, renters, Seniors, and underrepresented communities to make sure diverse perspectives reach leadership.
Public safety means every family feels secure walking in their neighborhood, every business feels supported, and every voice is respected. It’s not just about responding to emergencies—it’s about preventing them.”

I am committed to committed to Community Oriented Policing (COP) in which the department works with the citizens to solve community problems. I will advance our emergency preparedness. I will update city plans for severe weather, flooding, major fires, and public health emergencies.
