Raber Township Fire Protection Millage Renewal ProposalShall the previous voted increase in the 15 mill limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Raber Township, Chippewa County, Michigan of 3/4 mill ($0.75 per $1,000 of taxable value) which has been reduced to .6995 mill by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed at .6955 ($0.6955 per $1,000 of taxable value) for 5 years being 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for Fire Protection Purposes (this being renewal of the fire protection operating millage which expired with the 2024 levy) within the township and shall the township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose, thereby raising in the first year an estimated $23,000?
