MI MC Muskegon Charter Township Public Safety (Police & Fire) Millage Renewal
Shall the expired previously approved voted increase in the tax limitation under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Muskegon Charter Township be renewed at 2.6802 mills ($2.6802 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for a period of ten (10) years, 2025 through 2034 inclusive, for the purpose of Public Safety (police and fire services); and if this millage is approved and levied in its entirety, the Township would collect an estimated $1,396,000 in the first year of such levy?
