I will continue to interact with our town's residents by volunteering for events and serving on community committees and boards. I walk everyday in our town and will continue to chat with folks while I'm out and about.
Our town should set a tree canopy goal and stick to it. In addition, a legacy tree program should be set up as well as education and tree give-aways to encourage homeowners to add to our tree canopy. Permitting for homes and businesses should encourage green building and climate-friendly practices like solar, increased density along transit lines, and benefits for preserving large trees.

Our town should continue to support those living homeless or with lower incomes through our We Love Steilacoom food bank, Compassion Closet, and through utility and rent assistance. Our town should build more affordable housing or allow more types of housing (ADUs) to accommodate different levels of income.
I will promote and protect what is important to those of us who live in Steilacoom - public safety, responsive public services, sound infrastructure, and thoughtful economic and residential growth.
