Town where you live Winlock
Experience (300 characters max) Experienced advocate and operations leader with a background in military family support, financial services, and bilingual communication. Skilled in policy reform, fraud prevention, and community engagement. Proven ability to lead, solve problems, and build strong partnerships.
My background in military family advocacy, financial services, and leadership roles has prepared me to serve with empathy, efficiency, and accountability. I’ve worked directly with Congress, journalists, and healthcare systems to improve lives, while also managing operations, translating for diverse communities, and ensuring compliance across sectors. I bring both heart and strategy to every challenge.
I’ve spent years advocating for military families, working with Congress, healthcare systems, and watchdog groups to push for systemic reform. I serve as a liaison between families and institutions, ensuring access to critical resources like housing, healthcare, and education. My service is rooted in equity, transparency, and elevating unheard voices.
I’m running because my lifelong passion for social justice has driven every step of my journey—from earning my degree in sociology to helping families during the 2008 housing crisis and advocating for military families. Winlock is changing, but our leadership hasn’t. I’m stepping up to help us heal, unite, and move forward together.
Winlock faces three major issues: a deep lack of trust in local government caused by lawsuits and financial mismanagement, underfunded schools that need real support to serve our growing population, and a neglected downtown that deserves investment to boost local business and community pride.
I’ll push for transparency by opening council decisions to public input and publishing clear financial reports. I’ll advocate for stronger school partnerships and fight for funding and support. To revitalize downtown, I’ll work with local businesses, seek grants, and promote smart growth that reflects our town’s needs and character.
