Town where you live Auburn
Experience (300 characters max) Senior project manager and business owner with 30+ years of experience in operations and transportation.. Proven track record in budgeting, compliance, and leading large, complex projects with real impact. I am focused on serving Auburn.
I believe leadership should be accessible, transparent, and responsive. If elected, I won’t disappear between elections; I’ll stay engaged through neighborhood meetings, community events, and open office hours. I’ll keep my social media active and informative so residents always know what’s happening and how they can get involved so their voices are heard.

I’ll listen not just to the loudest voices, but to those in often overlooked communities who deserve a seat at the table. I’ll seek out conversations, not wait for them to come to me. Listening to our residents—not just during campaign season, but every day—is how I plan to lead.

Auburn belongs to the people who live here, and I’ll never forget that being a councilmember means showing up, staying accountable, and serving with integrity.
The City has both a responsibility and an opportunity to lead on environmental issues. That doesn’t mean costly, unrealistic mandates. It means smart, practical steps that make a real difference.

As someone who led a large privately owned alternative fuel bus fleet and cut over 4.4 million pounds of CO₂ emissions annually, I understand how environmental impact and operational efficiency can go hand in hand.

Auburn is a beautiful city, the heart of the PNW, with incredible trees, rivers, and mountain views. We need to protect what makes it special. That includes addressing flood risk and improving stormwater systems to keep our neighborhoods safe and our environment clean.

Auburn can move forward with sustainability in ways that are thoughtful and cost-conscious—supporting residents and businesses, not burdening them. Environmental leadership is about building a healthier, more livable Auburn—for all of us.
Public service has always been part of how I engage with my community. I currently serve as Vice President of the Auburn Noon Lions, a service organization that supports local causes including youth programs, sight and hearing assistance, and community needs.

I also volunteer with non-profits such as Habitat for Humanity and regularly participate in events like Auburn’s Clean Sweep and other city-led service projects. For me, public service isn’t about titles—it’s about action.

I believe in showing up and pitching in. I’m also proud of my professional background leading teams and managing large-scale projects that served millions of people: work that improves lives. If elected, I’ll bring that same service-driven mindset to the Auburn City Council.
Homelessness is a complex issue that demands compassion, coordination, and accountability.

Auburn’s current Human Services staff, under the leadership of Kent Hay, is doing an excellent job connecting people to shelter, services, and support while working to keep our public spaces safe and accessible for everyone. I believe the City should continue to invest in this work and expand partnerships with nonprofits, regional agencies, and housing providers.

We also need to confront housing affordability head-on. Preventing homelessness starts with making sure working families, seniors, and young people can afford to live here in the first place.

Solutions should include emergency shelter, mental health and addiction services, transitional housing, and long-term affordability strategies.

If elected, I’ll support efforts that are humane, effective, accountable, and focused on real results.
My vision for Auburn starts with its people. I want a city where families feel safe, neighbors look out for each other, and local businesses have what they need to grow.

I believe in practical, common-sense leadership: listening more than talking, showing up, and doing the work.

Auburn should be a place where you can afford to live, where kids have opportunities, and where we protect the beauty of our surroundings while planning for the future. That means addressing housing affordability, supporting public safety, and keeping government transparent and accountable. I’m passionate about supporting small businesses and revitalizing our downtown—bringing life, energy, and economic opportunity back to the heart of our city.

Auburn has so much potential, and I believe the best ideas often come from the community itself. If elected, I’ll stay connected, work hard, and never forget who I’m here to serve.
