What I have already done was inviting the Commander(s) to my community meet and greet to build a relationship of understanding on what the commander and the officers' responsibilities are and to explain their accountability to the residents and the community. Secondly encouraged residents to come to the safety meeting at Covenant Church, 119th & Kinsman every 4th Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to hear what the commander and officers have done and not done to make the community safer for residents in their community. Encouraged the residents become a zone advisory member with their district that meets every first Tuesday at the 4th district to report what has been going on in their area.
Working with all partners such as Community Housing Solutions, Department of Aging, Seniors Job and Family Services and other resources to assist with helping individuals with home repair, making sure the right resources are given to help with the issues and concerns of the problem. Connecting residents with the right programs such as Habit of Humanity, Community Housing Network and CHMA. There are a host of entities that assist with quality housing to preventing displacement once the person is connected to due to the situation that is pose to me then I know which entity to connect them with but do follow up to make sure that they are in a safe, healthy home.
The strategies that I have already done to increase civic and voter participation was joined Cleveland Votes in 2021 to build awareness in my community with (4) neighbors with the training from Cleveland Votes. With created a group which was called Information Action Committee (IAC) then open an office in the community which was open 4 times a week or when residents wanted to come and to understand the importance of voting, who is running, the background of the candidates and why should they vote. I have continued to encourage the residents to come to the meeting at the Democratic Party Headquarters, become a volunteer, help encourage to registration to others who is not and the importance of your voice matters to change a difference
I have already begun that process in 2022. I created a Job Beautification Summer Program for the youths from 14-17 years old for 16 weeks to clean their curbs and sidewalks and this give awareness to build creator and to connect with the residents and learn their community. For the young adults there's two apprenticeship programs to learn a lifelong skill to be obtain a great paying job to provide first for themselves and eventually to provide for a family. Council's Workforce committee gave OhioMeansJobs $10 million to assist with the right job development for all residents to be trained for the job they are seeking. TRI-C has programs to connect with young residents of all ages to get a degree in whatever the choice may be.
There are various challenges related to advocating ward interest to addressing city-wide issue, however, engaging and representing constituents is the most important which is ensuring that all constituents' voices are heard and represented and effectively communicating city council decision back to them can be challenging. Only because the language of politics is confusing sometimes but communicating in simple English helps developing strong communication skills with residents

Would create two police substations. One at Shaker Square and the second in the 55th and Broadway area. Working with the 4th District Commander I would find funding for this program.
I would also fund a monthly coffee with a COP program outside the monthly information meeting to give residents an opportunity to meet with officers in a more relaxed environment.
Would due quarterly ride along with the district commander in the neighborhoods to better connect with the residents.
Would work with current CDC's and Cleveland Housing Network to help current residents on housing needs with grants. I would stabilize current housing and neighborhoods before investing in new housing.
Priority has to be working for the senior community in providing resources for them to maintain their homes.
I would also work with Cleveland Housing court to have clinics in the community at least 6 times a year to inform non homeowners of their rights and responsibilities.
By doing this the situation of unsafe housing that now exist in the Shaker Square area may be prevented from happening in the future.
I would hold out state landlords more accountable. I would be more attentive to follow-up on issues to be resolved for residents
I would first reach out to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections to get more accurate voter rolls via the study that I did in 2018 under Councilman Ken Johnson, whereas 15% of the registered voter where registered to empty building and vacant lots.
I would find funding for transportation for voting in the ward for the 30 days prior to voting day and election day.
Would find funding for Youth scholarship program 12-18 (20 students @$500.00) Students selected by an application process.
I would interduce legislation that the current 10-billion-dollar projects connected to Cleveland (Browns and Hopkins Airport) that residents not only of Ward 3, but all Clevelander receive a fair opportunity to benefit from them. Too often Cleveland residents are left out and overlooked on these major projects.
SAFETY- People don't feel safe in their homes. Gun fire and dirt bikes speeding down the street have to often become the norm.
-I would find funding for door cams to be available to all residents (Similar to what Ward 1 is doing)
- Work with CPD on getting drones for the ward to better assist law enforcement
Without a focus on getting the safety concerns under control, economic development is a non-starter
