Stopping high density housing in Bedford County is Job one and something I will vote against every time. If these colossal projects continue to be approved by the current District 3 Supervisor, the following will happen at an even greater rate. 1. Overcrowded schools and the need to build new ones. 2. More school buses, drivers, teachers, teacher's aides 3. Heavy traffic growth, bigger roads needed. 4. More staff and services for fire, rescue, water supply and police. In the end, high density housing will lead to the county needing more tax revenues to pay for it all, and that means tax rate increases and/or the through the roof, ever climbing tax assessed values of our homes.
