-Partnering with the Avalon Police Department to maintain and enhance public safety. -Keep a working rapport with the Police Chief and Officers to view monthly calls, safety concerns, and needs of the community.

-Working with the Streets & Safety Committee to address community infrastructure needs. -Communicate with the Avalon Fire Department and Department of Public Works to determine needs. -Support Borough staff and council when completing grant applications.

-Hosting open office hours to ensure residents can share their concerns and ideas directly. -Hold monthly times that residents can come and have straight conversations.
I have helped create lasting initiatives with the Allegheny County Library Association including the Chat with a Librarian - Allegheny County division. This was a year-long project involving communicating with stakeholders, getting buy-in from local libraries, and getting the program set-up.

In general, I take a stance where hearing all voices is important. It is also helpful to share information and be transparent about why things may or may not be possible at this time. While decisions made might not always be the popular ones, often once reasoning is shown, people are more accepting.
