Ross TwoThe Inspector of Elections consist of the Majoirty Inspector and Minority Inspector. They assist the Judge of Election and share responsibility for the operation of the polling site; process voters, accompany voters to a voting machine and provide assistance to voters with special needs.Additional duties include assistance to the Judge of Election in tallying and verifying the final results and closing the polling site. These positions are filled during municipal elections every 4 years. If an Inspector of Elections is not elected, someone is appointed to the job.

Help voters move quickly through the voting process. Have handouts available to give those who arrived at incorrect voting district. Have handouts available at municipal building for those seeking additional information. Encourage voters to bring translator if needed for voting support.
