Taxes, Rental Properties, Parking Working to attract new business will lessen the tax burden on residents. Continuing Code Enforcement and Rental inspections will improve the quality of life for both renters and neighbors. We are working on a Parking Plan to expand parking in the Downtown and in residential areas.
We have added several new officers and have improved our technical capabilities. We are continuing to improve our outreach with residents with additional training and interaction with the community and school district.
We are working on a 5 year plan to improve our streets that includes curb and sidewalk instillation and restoration, looking to create complete streets. We continue to look for ways to improve broadband access and providing information to our residents and business. I have been working with the school district to finally have a quarterly newsletter that will be available both in hard copy and online.
I plan to continue to meet with our business community and our great volunteer organizations. I will also improve our police departments interaction with residents, business, schools and social organizations.
