A judge’s primary duty is to apply the law faithfully—without bias and without an agenda. That means following statutes, respecting precedent, and treating everyone who comes into court with fairness and dignity. The role also involves managing a courtroom efficiently, ensuring everyone has a equal opportunity to be heard, and rendering timely thoughtful opinions.

Over 30 years of experience in the courtroom as a prosecutor, defense attorney, and civil litigator in all areas of the law.
As a candidate for judge, I am prohibited from making statements or commitments on issues that may come before the Court. As a judge, I will always keep an open mind and carry out judicial duties faithfully and impartially according to the law. My more than 30 years of diverse experience in the courtrooms of Northampton County uniquely qualifies me to serve on the Court.
