As the Bucks County (BC) Recorder of Deeds, I provide accessible and efficient services. In the past three yrs., I have held mobile office hrs. for residents to get deed copies, learn about property protection through the Fraud Alert Program (FAP), record veterans' military discharge papers, and renew notary commissions at no extra cost.I started the History Social, a monthly event for exploring BC's history through Deed Books from 1687. Recognizing property purchase as a major investment, I expanded the FAP to include tax parcel numbers for unique identification. I also created the Notary Alert System to notify notaries when documents are recorded against their name/commission number.I am dedicated to providing quality, efficient services.
As a lifelong resident of Bucks County, I have over ten years of experience in public service. Throughout my career in public service, I have always prioritized constituent services. I was appointed by the Bucks County Board of Commissioners to serve
as a member of the Bucks County Community College Authority Board, where I helped secure funding for the Arts & Science Building. As President of Bucks County Association of Township Officials, I led an opioid addiction forum to address the crisis affecting our community.
I am running for Bucks County Recorder of Deeds to continue providing essential services while ensuring fiscal responsibility. With my education, experience, and commitment to serve, I'm honored to seek your support.
Education
Bachelor Degree from San Diego State University (SDSU)
Experience
Recorder of Deeds (2018-2022), Real Estate Agent (5 years), Neshaminy Abstract Title Co (8 years), Private Lender Mortgage for the past 3.5 years
During my past term as Recorder of Deeds, I am incredibly proud that I was able to open up the records during the pandemic shutdown so that all real estate transactions could be done. During the shutdown, I also made sure that notaries were able to renew with minimal hassle, even swearing them in at parking lots when the Courthouse was closed. My management skills are something I am very proud of, making sure the office ran smoothly so that we could best serve the community. I also am able to think forward and follow trends to make the office function in the 21st century. My experience doesn't just make me particularly qualified, but the record of what I did while in office makes me beyond qualified.
Serving the people of Bucks County was the best experience I have ever had, but I have a lot more to do. I started the preservation of all the historic deed books of the county that I found on a warehouse floor. I want to finish that project and return great customer service to the office. I was the first Recorder of Deeds that actually showed up to the office every day. We need that commitment from the elected official again.
