Executive Member of the Pennsylvania District Attorney's Institute and of the Pennsylvania's District Attorney's Association Education and Training.
I took an oath as District Attorney of Bucks County. In doing so I swore to an unwavering commitment that justice be my sole guiding principle. The phrase "Justice is blind", means that the administration of justice must be impartial and objective, without bias or favoritism. This principle has guided me for the past 25 years prosecuting in Bucks County and will continue to act as my inner compass as I continue to serve as Bucks County District Attorney.
Integrity. The District Attorney must always do the right thing for the right reason. Never should one's own personal agenda be a factor.
Not only have I served as a prosecutor for over 25 years in Bucks, it is the county where I was raised and am raising my family. As a career prosecutor in Bucks, I have successfully handled every type of criminal prosecution, including murder, cold case homicide, child physical and sexual abuse, human trafficking and the like. The one thing my vast and continued experience has taught me is that crime is ever evolving. The Chief Law Enforcement Officer for the County of Bucks should have significant experience prosecuting cases in the jurisdiction where she seeks to serve and must have strong relationships with her law enforcement partners, community partners, and victim advocates. There is no substitute for this type of experience.
