When I speak with residents, many are surprised to learn that Yardley has a “weak mayor” system—meaning almost all executive authority rests with Borough Council, not the Mayor. The Mayor’s official responsibilities are limited to directing the Police Department and casting tie-breaking votes. With that in mind, I will respond with a matter that is actually under the control of the Mayorship. The most important issues facing our community is the disproportionate share of the Borough’s operating budget, nearly 80%, dedicated to police services. Our police are essential to Yardley’s safety and small-town character, and I fully support their work. But to keep our government fiscally sustainable, we must balance budget share more equally, without compromising public safety. This will allow us to reinvest in infrastructure, emergency management, and long-term community resilience.
I’m running for Mayor of Yardley to build on the work I’ve led as an elected Borough Council member since 2019: focusing on strategy, planning, and mediation across the Borough. With our long-time Mayor stepping down, Yardley needs experienced, steady leadership with fresh energy and deep institutional knowledge. As Mayor, I’ll focus on areas where the role has real authority: police oversight and emergency management. I’ll work to reduce spending, while maintaining public safety and expand emergency communication and in-house grant writing to save taxpayer dollars.

I’ve lived in Yardley for 11 years and am a lifelong Bucks County resident. This is where I’ve chosen to invest in a home, raise my children, and give back through public service.
Professionally, I serve as Director of Intellectual Property and Brand Protection at a global nonprofit, where I oversee legal strategy, vendor management, and complex cross-functional projects that require diplomacy, precision, and long-term planning—skills I bring to public service. I’ve been elected to Yardley Borough Council three times, consistently as the top vote-getter. I don’t share that to boast, but to emphasize that I’m a leader who delivers results and earns the trust of the community I serve. At work, I’ve led initiatives that cut operating costs by over $2.5 mm annually through vendor negotiations and in-house training. I’ve also built new systems that reduce manual workflows and speed up decision-making. Whether resolving complex brand enforcement issues or mediating tough conversations at Borough Council, I’m known for being pragmatic, collaborative, and solution-oriented—qualities that will serve Yardley well in the role of Mayor.
