Education
2 Years college - focus on business and computer science at Penn State Abington. I have also completed numerous continuing education courses in various subjects including finance, lean manufacturing, customer service, management, and others throughout my 40 year business career.
Experience
40 years of business experience, self-employed business owner since 2001. I have served multiple Board memberships including a current board position and serving as Treasurer for a Homeowners Association in which we own a property.
I'm running for Tax Collector in Tinicum because I became aware that there was a need in the community as our taxes were being collected by a Tax Collector from another township due to a vacancy.
I believe the position is a good fit for me as I am retired and would like to stay active and involved in the community. I also think that my business and finance experience would bring value to the position and the residents of Tinicum.
My wife Jenny and I have lived in Ottsville since 2008, along with our children Zach and Gabrielle. We enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and board games with friends and family. I am an avid golfer and member at Oak Hill Golf Club, where I've served two terms on the Board and as its President.

I want to see the tax collector back in Tinicum. I have the experience and knowledge to complete the job. I like to work with numbers and enjoy meeting new people. I feel I can give the community the opportunity to pay their taxes closer to their home if they want to stop and drop them off.

Thomas Jefferson High School, graduated 1970. Spartan School of Aeronautics, graduated with honors June 1979 with an Airframe and Power plant certification. Aviation Institute of Maintenance, graduated March 2010 with an Avionics certification.
Experience
US Air Force, Honorable Discharge March 1980. Worked civilian aviation (Helicopters) from July 1979 to February 2020. Volunteer firefighter with the Delaware Valley Fire Co. from October 1991 to present, President for 2 years, Treasurer for 9 years. Mike's Home Service LLC February 2020 to present.
I felt that there was a need in my township for a qualified individual with the time to do the position justice. As a small business owner of a handyman service I have the ability to schedule my time as needed to fulfill my responsibilities to both positions.
