Qualifications for office
Brenden brings deep local roots and broad life experience to his role in local government. Professionally, he has honed his skills in project management, personnel management, communications, and budgeting — all of which he routinely exercises in his work with Borough Council.
Education
Pennsylvania State University
Brenden’s platform rests on three primary issues: transparency, efficiency, and visibility. He believes that civic engagement is critical to the success of our democracy and wants to make local government more accessible to residents, including by livestreaming Council meetings and increasing the visibility of public documents to promote accountability. Brenden is interested in working with neighboring communities to identify possible cost savings associated with shared services and maximizing the utilization of existing revenue. Brenden hopes that implementing these priorities will help put Bellevue on the map in the larger Western Pennsylvania region — showcasing our diverse local businesses, thriving community, and walkable streets.
In his professional career, Brenden is responsible for spearheading projects from inception to completion, with a focus on gathering opinions and contributions from all stakeholders - the most junior to the C-suite.
Through consistent communication, Brenden has succesfully created an atmosphere for consensus on the most daunting of projects.
